The media changed institutions, especially television over past four decades. These institutions affect us. The media, especially television, have influenced these changes. Bu we must we must be careful not to think that they are only the influence. The media are important player in all this because they transmit information about change so quickly and broadly. It is then that those who are media literate can have an influence on the direction of that change—at least for themselves.
